1.    SENIORS:  If you have not asked your teacher to write your letter of recommendation for the local scholarships, now would be a good time.  The more time they have to write the letter, the better the letter.  The deadline is April 3rd.

10.    Willow Springs R-IV art departments have artwork on display this month at the Missouri Capital Building.  Artwork from the high school, middle school and the elementary school is on display and on a web site.  Representing WSHS are works by Emily Wehmer, Summer Hanson, Annina Fremgen, Jessica Peck, Miriam Piatnitsky and Allison Reef.  Go to  mo dese art gallery to view the work.

Coach Waggoner has issued a challenge to ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS….If the high school can maintain a 95% average daily attendance from February 27th until May 11th, the 25 students with the best attendance will be allowed to throw water balloons at Coach Waggoner during the 4th quarter attendance assembly! Remember to be here every day for your chance to win and show Coach Waggoner how much we miss him!

So our events for FFA week will be Monday February 27-March 2 in spirit of our first contest workshop at College of the Ozarks March 3. For each day of participation there will be a $25 cash prize drawing for all those who participate for that day. At the end of the week for the students that participated each day they will go into a drawing for a $50 cash prize.
