Policies:

*Regarding medicine at school.  High School students may bring acetaminophen (Tylenol) to school.  They must have a current Health Information Update on file, with the parent or guardian's signature, giving permission for them to carry medicine at school.  This medicine must be in the original, fully labeled container.   Just bring a couple doses.  Students may not share medicine!

*Regarding other medicine at school.  All other medicine must be taken to the school nurse in one of the school health rooms.  The parent or guardian must sign a permission slip for the nurse to give the medicine.

To learn more about the rules for medicine at school or for a question about a prescription medicine, see page 12 of the student planner or call Miss Meredith at 469-2114 Ext. 310.

*Students who become ill or injured during the school day should ask their teacher for a pass and go to the Health Room.  All sick or injured students should see the nurse before going home.  Refer to page 12 of the HS Planner.

*For questions about other Student Health Services policies, please phone the High School Health Room at 469-2114 ext. 310.
