1. FCCLA will have slushies for sale TODAY!
2. Don’t forget, a new KWSB will be ready this morning!
3. Internship and A+ Students need to get their time sheets turned in. . .progress report card time is coming up.
4. Weight meet Saturday. We meet at old gym at 7:05 and return by 1:30 pm. We’ve been working hard let’s go show it.
5. FOOTBALL PLAYERS: Let’s not just talk about change let’s make it happen. Quickness on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.
6. Sophomores interested in attending Vo-Tech next year should sign the list on Mrs. Petrus’ door by the end of lunch Tuesday.
7. FBLA MEMBERS: You must pay your dues by Tuesday in order to compete at and attend the District contest in February. It is only $15.00 which pays your local, state and national dues. Also testing is coming up very soon…..so be sure you are studying so we can go to Nationals!
8. Rhea Wheat’s senior project is making a magazine of new/lightly used dresses for sale. If you are interested in selling a formal dress please pick up a packet of information from Miss Tina’s office or see Rhea. The deadline to submit a dress to the magazine is February 14th.
9. Get ready for the show of the year! Singers, musicians and actors have come together to perform in a show never seen at the Star Theater, directed by senior, Mary Conlin, presented February 18th & 25th. So see Mary or Serghei to purchase your ticket to this wonderful show, $5 each.
10. Seniors, have you got your senior picture turned in to the yearbook department? Deadline is February 3rd.
11. Awesome new pencil drawings by the Art 1 students are on exhibit in both hall cases. Across from Coach Mac’s room you can see artwork by : Tina Dudko, Deanna Ciancanelli, Alexis Privette, Haden Smith. Dakota Grindstaff, Mariya Kharitonova, Anita Kharitonova, Andrew Kryshtal, Jarica Maggard, Jessica Peck, D. J. Johnson and Julia Jenigan. Across from Mr. Wickens’ room you can see Art 1 projects by Tyler Owens, Natalie Patterson, and Katerina Seu and some advanced art by, Emily Wehmer, Annina Fremgen, and Summer Hanson. These are all impressive so, check them out! ENJOY!
12. When eating breakfast at the elementary cafeteria, you are welcome to take extra food items out of the extras tub; however, you are not allowed to share food from one tray to another.
13. If you would like to be able to play chess in the Commons Area at lunch, please see Serghei for a pass.
14. The Willow Springs Arts Council is presenting the 2012 Film Festival to be held at the Star Theater. The movies are free to the public. . .SATURDAY – “The Pirates of Penzance”. For further information see the bulletin boards in the hallway.
15. February 17 students will have an opportunity to order the 2011-12 Willamizzou yearbook.
