1. Baseball meeting in Mr. Knapp’s room TODAY during lunch.
2. FBLA meeting Friday during both lunches in Mrs. Pettit’s room.
3. We are exactly one week away from the Spring blood drive!!! All students ages 16 and up can sign up to donate at Tina’s office window. 16-year-olds must turn in a parent permission form unless they already turned one in at the last blood drive. Girls, remember to keep iron levels up with multi-vitamins, fortified breakfast cereals, spinach, white beans, and liver and giblets!
Check out the blood drive posters for the t-shirt design, “Angry Blood” or see the actual t-shirt displayed in Mr. Knapp’s room by his whiteboard.
4. Any senior who has a parent who is a veteran should stop by and see Mrs. Petrus.
5. Rhea Wheat’s senior project is making a magazine of new/lightly used dresses for sale. If you are interested in selling a formal dress please pick up a packet of information from Tina’s office or Rhea. The deadline to submit a dress to the magazine is February 14th. We will also be hosting a photography day on Thursday Jan. 26th if you want to bring your dress in to be photographed. Mrs. Brower is looking for volunteers of all sizes to wear donated dresses in the magazine (no faces will be shown). Mrs. Brower has over 60 new/almost new dresses! 6. The Willow Springs Arts Council is presenting the 2012 Film Festival to be held at the Star Theater. The movies are free to the public and we are always interested in sharing with the youth in our community. Friday @ 7:00 p.m. – “The War Wagon”
