Homecoming information

Thank you to everyone who dressed up this week and made Homecoming week a success! It’s more fun to be a part of a school with SPIRIT.
Spirit points so far this week are as follows:
  • Seniors are in the lead with 30 spirit points.
  • Sophomores are in second place with 13 spirit points.
  • Freshmen are in third place with 5 spirit points.
  • Juniors are in last place with 3 spirit points.
Keep in mind, floats are worth 50 points and there are three opportunities to win points at the pep rally so it’s still anybody’s game!
The parade will begin at 2:00 pm TODAY.  When the parade arrives, there will be a brief pep assembly in the gym until time to dismiss at 3:00.  Be prepared to show your school spirit and compete for prizes and points!  Please join us for the dance TONIGHT, following the football game in the Bears’ Den.

Steve Waggoner Invitational Cancelled

The Steve Waggoner Invitational has been cancelled for today.  There will not be a makeup date.

We Are Family – WSHS Team Dance Contest

Families encourage each other, celebrate each other’s success; we work as a team, and not as a group of individuals. Willow Springs High School has the potential of doing more amazing things if we are a family and work together. We would like to introduce a dance competition during our attendance celebration at the end of the first quarter. Here is some information about the contest.

School store operators needed

Mrs. Pettit needs two students (one 2nd block and one 6th block) who want to learn to operate our school store.

You do receive one credit for the year for each block. Students who are interested must: help operate the store before school, during ten minute break, and through lunch. During the class time you would work independently to stock the shelves, get milk from the cooler, do inventory, count money and roll change to make deposits and eat lunch.

See Mrs. Pettit if interested.
