The fifth grade teachers will be offering homework assistance on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 to 4:00 starting September 16th. Your child will be able to get help with homework in all subject areas. Please let your child's teacher know if you are interested.

Mid-quarter grades should be out this week. The high school is sending out all grades. The middle school will be sending out a midterm grade ONLY if your student is deficient.

Mrs. Mutrux’s 8th Grade science class is studying the solar system and will soon be learning about seasons. If you have any questions about science class you can contact Mrs. Mutrux at ext. 232.

High School and Middle School will both be learning the NEW Food Guide Pyramid. They will also be preparing healthy snacks that they can make at home. A lot of people do not know about the change and if they are interested they may get on WWW.MyPyramid.gov

Mrs. Conway’s class just finished a noun collage project and they are brushing up on their grammar skills to start the quarter off. The noun collages are displayed outside her classroom. They look great.

Mrs. Brandt’s Algebra I will have their first test on Tuesday, September 6th. In Applied Math II and Intermediate Algebra, they will have their first test on Friday September 9th.

You can help! Best Choice labels, Campbell Soup labels and Kellogg’s box tops are being saved by the Elementary school.
